Catalyst Music Project was founded with the idea of a worldwide contest for composers. 300 worship leaders were chosen, of which only some of them to build 12 creative and passionate worship songs. With the participation of renowned artists like Phil Wickham, Fee and Laura Story, the album will be released on March 9 through INO Records. Produced by Nathan Nockels (Phillips, Craig & Dean, Passion, and Matt Redman), this project is an amazing testimony that God stills speaking to his people.
At first, organs and drums that are in “Love Is The Answer” intended to give us a song in a minor tone, but unexpectedly leads to an exuberant experience of praise. Performed by Rob Attaway reveals that love is the only answer, the only salvation, and that love will always be our song: “We are a generation born to stand / We are a people called to shake this land / It’s all because of You, so we refuse / To hold it in”. When I read Phil Wickham on the tracklist, I said “this definitely will be a majestic song”, and I was right. “One Who Overcomes” has synthesizers, pianos, rhodes, powerful guitars and a sublime melody that takes maturity with Wickham’s particular style: “We sing for the rescue he’s brought us / We sing for the kingdom right here / We sing for the hope in redemption / He has overcome, He has overcome”. Violins, acoustic guitars, and electronic pianos openthe first official single from the album, “What A Savior”. Performed by Laura Story, with a soft but firm voice that shows admiration for what Christ did for us by His death and resurrection: “Jesus, You are stronger / More than any other / Hallelujah, what a Savior / Jesus, You are higher / My soul’s deepest desire / Hallelujah, you are Savior”. You can download this song for free here http://buzzplant.com/catalyst/ecard1/. Then, we find the inspirational “The Beauty Of The Cross” performed by Fee, who forcefully declare the incredible story of the sacrifice of Christ: “Now we can see the greatness of His calling / We can find mercy like the morning / We can know the fullness of His love for us / That’s the beauty of the cross”. Next, we ran into an interesting folk-acoustic and modern worship fusion in “A Thousand Amens (Doxology)”. At first, I thought that Dan Haseltine was singing on it, but after reading (again) the track list, I discovered that it was Tim Timmons. Excellent performance, pure versatility, great arrangements. The lyrics are very simple, is a kind of anthem that praises God for his faithfulness. Stephen Cole enchants us with “Hallelujah (All I Need)” and offers an impeccable vocal development, with persistent impulsive guitarist and drums: “Hallelujah / Christ has come to win / Defeated death / To free us from our sin / So I will sing / And give you everything / You’re all I Need, You’re all I need”. Suddenly, Heather Williams (must hear her albums, they are incredible) earnestly performs “Emmanuel”, revealing the work of God in humanity, the beauty of his name and that God is with us: “Now I stand in awe of your unfailing love / I will sing of your fame / Emmanuel you came and you carried the cross / I will sing of your name / Emmanuel, Emmanuel, Emmanuel, Emmanuel”. Atmospheric pianos, synths, powerful drum founded in “Better Than I Know”, where David Walker proclaims the wonders of the Kingdom of God: “You are better than I know / You are more than beautiful / You are set aside the only One that we are breathing for”. Crunchy guitars and deep pads opening “Revival’s Fire” performed by Andy Cherry, proclaiming revival, praise and endless wonders of God’s grace: “We cannot lift our voices loud enough to sing Your praise / Or tell the wonders of Your endless grace / Still with one voice we shout the perfect name / Jesus, Jesus, Jesus”. Roaring guitars excel in “Beacuse Of Your Love”, while Miriam Ah Kuoi gives us a blend of powerpop similar to Superchick and Paramore, thanking God for his boundless love. “God Of All” is immersed in worship, led by Scott Reed, who rose the voice of creation: “Oceans cry out and the stars declare / Who You are, who You are / All of the splendors of Heaven unveil / Who You are, who You are”. Finally, the sublime pianos and violins take over “Won’t You Be My Love” with the amazing performance of Thad Cockrell using sweet harmonies and a captivating lyricism that resembles Steven Curtis Chapman: “Won’t you be my bones calling / Won’t you be my hands healing / Won’t you be my feet walking / To a broken world / Won’t you be my chain breaker / Won’t you be my peacemaker / Won’t you be my hope and joy / Won’t you be my love”
This is one of the best compilations of worship in history. Catalyst Music Project was born with the desire to discover those new hymns and worship songs to the church with passionate lyrics and a new contemporary expression of praise to God.

We are a generation born to stand / We are a people called to shake this land / It’s all because of You, so we refuse / To hold it in”. We sing for the rescue he’s brought us / We sing for the kingdom right here / We sing for the hope in redemption / He has overcome, He has overcome”. You are stronger / More than any other / Hallelujah, what a Savior / Jesus, You are higher / My soul’s deepest desire / Hallelujah, you are Savior”. Puedes descargar esta canción gratis aquí http://buzzplant.com/catalyst/ecard1/. Luego, encontramos a la inspiradora “The Beauty Of The Cross” interpretada por Fee, que con energía declaran la increíble historia del sacrificio de Cristo: “Now we can see the greatness of His calling / We can find mercy like the morning / We can know the fullness of His love for us / That’s the beauty of the cross”. Stephen Cole nos encanta con “Hallelujah (All I Need)”, y nos ofrece un desenvolvimiento vocal impecable, con impulsadoras guitarras y tenaces tambores: “Hallelujah / Christ has come to win / Defeated death / To free us from our sin / So I will sing / And give you everything / You’re all I Need, You’re all I need”. Now I stand in awe of your unfailing love / I will sing of your fame / Emmanuel you came and you carried the cross / I will sing of your name / Emmanuel, Emmanuel, Emmanuel, Emmanuel”. Pianos atmosféricos, sintetizadores y potentes tambores encontramos en “Better Than I Know”, dónde David Walker que proclama las maravillas y el Reino de Dios: “You are better than I know / You are more than beautiful / You are set aside the only One that we are breathing for”. We cannot lift our voices loud enough to sing Your praise / Or tell the wonders of Your endless grace / Still with one voice we shout the perfect name / Jesus, Jesus, Jesus”. “God Of All” se sumerge en adoración, dirigida por Scott Reed que levanta la voz de la creación: “Oceans cry out and the stars declare / Who You are, who You are / All of the splendors of Heaven unveil / Who You are, who You are”. Finalmente, los sublimes pianos y violines se apoderan de “Won’t You Be My Love”, con la sorprendente performance de Thad Cockrell, empleando dulces harmonías y una cautivadora lírica que se asemeja a Steven Curtis Chapman: “Won’t you be my bones calling / Won’t you be my hands healing / Won’t you be my feet walking / To a broken world / Won’t you be my chain breaker / Won’t you be my peacemaker / Won’t you be my hope and joy / Won’t you be my love”.
